Business Development Representative (BDR) Intern
Location: Remote | Work Type: Internship (Part-Time)
Role Summary
Cloud Haven is looking for a Business Development Intern to support lead generation and outbound sales efforts. This role is a great fit for someone interested in B2B tech sales who wants real-world experience in researching prospects, writing outreach messages, and contributing to a growing sales pipeline.
You’ll work closely with our Sales and Marketing teams to identify potential clients, send outreach messages, and track engagement. We’ll provide you with the tools and mentorship to learn how modern sales teams operate and what it takes to move someone from a lead to a potential customer.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential clients and target organizations
- Assist in building outbound contact lists using platforms like LinkedIn and Apollo
- Draft and send cold outreach emails and messages
- Support ongoing follow-up and engagement tracking
- Update and maintain CRM records (Salesforce)
- Collaborate with the Sales Executive and Marketing team on campaign strategy
Participate in team check-ins, planning sessions, and learning opportunities
Qualifications
- Interest in B2B sales, marketing, or business development
- Strong written communication skills (especially email and LinkedIn messaging)
- Comfortable working in Google Workspace and CRM tools
- Organized, proactive, and eager to contribute to team goals
- Prior sales or outreach experience is helpful but not required
- Reliable internet and ability to work remotely
